Re-imagining visual storytelling for 150+ million Slides users within Google Workspace

Ideated and launched a brand new business unit to diversify the Zola business: a fast-growing, two-sided marketplace for couples and wedding vendors to connect on Zola. Simultaneously led the design for two new revenue generating products.
Collaborated closely with cross-funtional partners and Leadership to strategize, prioritize and roll out features that ranged from generating personalized vendor recommendations for couples, to developing an innovative monetization strategy and leads management platform for vendors. Grew the product team to 40+ people, which initially started with just the GM and myself.
Directly managed the Product Design Department designers, which included other managers. As the most senior leader of the Department, I partnered with the Founder/CDO to grow the department 3x since my hire.

Solved creative problems for clients through creative direction, visual design, product design, future-vision concepts, brand and digital design solutions. Worked with startups, design agencies, Fortune 500s companies, and more.

Delivered end-to-end solutions for startup clients and legacy brands, as part of an all-women leadership team that bridges the gap between a traditional business consultancy and design agency. Worked on strategy decks, UX, branding, design, and social media/influencer campaigns to reposition businesses to meet the needs of the modern, millennial, connected consumer.

Developed the Havas Product & Brand Team from the ground up with the Director, starting from just us two, to a multidisciplinary team of visual designers, motion designers, UX designers, copywriters and strategists. Hired and managed creative talent, organized and ran departmental meetings, mentored designers, as well as being a hands-on designer. Ran the creative teams for multiple accounts and new business pitches.

Led various teams to create websites, digital campaigns, apps and more, from conception to execution to launch. Worked directly with the President & Partners to win new work, including their first multi-million dollar retainer account. Fostered the growth of the NYC office, which grew 4x the size since I joined. Developed and ran Creative Meetings, projects, and events for designers and developers.

Conceptualized and designed web sites, campaigns, user interfaces for applications across various mediums. Worked on future vision products, brand visuals, online advertising, CRM materials, 360 ad experiences and new business pitches. Collaborated closely with other designers, interaction designers, copywriters, and engineers.

Designed the James E.Burke advertising award web site in collaboration with the Brand Innovation Group at Oglivy & Mather. Received two personal awards for teamwork and demonstrating effective client-designer communication.

Created print designs in a fast-paced and highly-conceptual environment. Worked with art directors and copywriters to create a variety of print premiums including signage, stationery systems, posters and event pieces.

Worked directly with the Director of Creative Services to conceptualize, storyboard, and create artwork for 360 ad campaigns. Designed marketing materials, media kits, logos and more. Selected member of 4As MAIP for the second year.

Assisted the Charles Schwab account team with a $60 mm media launch in TV, OOH, and print advertising. Researched and developed the annual competitive review. Presented research on emerging media to the CEO and company at the end of the internship. Selected member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ Multicultural Advertising Internship Program.
